The companies CAE, Airbus Helicopters, Rheinmetall Electronics and Thales are the shareholders and partners of HFTS GmbH and they designed, developed and produced the NH90 Trainings Media.

CAE Elektronik GmbH, Stolberg

CAE Elektronik GmbH is a subsidiary of CAE, a world leader in providing simulation & modelling technologies and integrated training solutions for the civil aviation industry and defence forces. CAE is an established enterprise in the field of developing, manufacturing and maintaining simulation systems for educating and training civil and military pilots and aeronautical staff. Other services include unmanned aerial system (UAS) simulation, virtual and constructive simulation for land forces and database generation. Our company is continously developing through expanded national and European programs and coorporations with partners from industry and research community. The parent company, CAE Inc., was founded in 1947 in Montreal, Canada, and is today the worldwide leader in simulation technology and training for civilian and military users. Airbus Helicopters, Donauwörth
Airbus Helicopters is a division of Airbus Group. The company provides the most efficient civil and military helicopter solutions to its customers who serve, protect, save lives and safely carry passengers in highly demanding environments. Flying more than 3 million flight hours per year, the company’s in-service fleet includes some 12,000 helicopters operated by more than 3,000 customers in 152 countries. Airbus Helicopters employs more than 23,000 people worldwide and in 2014 generated revenues of 6.5 billion Euros. In line with the company’s new identity, fully integrated into Airbus Group, Airbus Helicopters has renamed its product range replacing the former “EC” designation with an “H”.

Rheinmetall Electronics GmbH, Bremen

The Rheinmetall Group’s Defence sector is regarded in the defense and security industry as a leading provider of innovative products for German and international armed forces, and offers system and partial system solutions and a wide range of services for capability in the areas of mobility, reconnaissance, management, effectiveness and protection.

With an experience of more than 40 years in development and production of simulation and training systems and related services Bremen based Rheinmetall Electronics GmbH offers a broad range of training solutions for military users and civil users in the domains of Armed Forces, public security, as well as industries and educational institutions in the transportation, merchant marine and energy and resources sectors.

With their systems becoming increasingly complex the Armed Forces expect cost-effective training solutions during the entire life cycle. Rheinmetall provides customized solutions ranging from fundamental e-learning and basic part-task training all the way up to sophisticated simulators or complex training centres to ensure excellent performance of soldiers, airmen and sailors in their future missions.

Rheinmetall Electronics has a long and renowned history for the development and production of innovative and advanced aviation training technologies for air force, army and naval aviation. The company is involved with numerous global and multi-national aviation training programmes for a wide range of airborne platforms such as the NH90 helicopter, the Tiger attack helicopter, Typhoon combat aircraft (Eurofighter) and the A400M transport aircraft.

Thales Deutschland GmbH, Stuttgart
Thales Deutschland is headquartered in Ditzingen  and is Thales Group's third largest national subsidiary.
