NH90 Helicopter

The NH90 is a10-to transport helicopter. The aircraft was developed and built by an industry consortium consisting of notable and well-known European helicopter manufacturers (Eurocopter, Agusta, Fokker) by order of five countries (Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, and Portugal). The aircraft was made ready for operation in 2006.
The NH90 mostly consists of fibre composite materials, is equipped with 2 turbine engines, a 4-blade rotor system, and a retractable landing gear.
The helicopter is furnished with a digital onboard computer system. A fly-by-wire system manages the control inputs of the pilots to the actuators. The spectrum of equipment comprises multiple sensors for different day- and night-flight conditions and tactical operations.
